Victor the budgie was a parakeet with a vocabulary of over 1000 words. In the fall of 2000 he began to talk in remarkable context. He was the first parrot in the world to prove parrots are capable of speaking in sophisticated conversational language.
In September of 2005, I finally began to write the full length version book from the journal that I published on his site. I am almost finished now and plan on getting it published in 2006. The first three chapters will be free. Currently I have about 200 pages and nine chapters. In total it should be about 12 chapters and at least 300 pages in the book form.
